STOP RAPE NOW

Who the fuck do you think you are?
Just because you got a penis,
You think you are invincible?
Yeah I got one too,
But I use my head before I use my penis.

I sometimes feel ashamed
To call myself a man,
Because of filthy ass holes like you.
Why should I be judged in the same breath as you?
Just because I am a man?

All I see in the news are numbers,
18th rape, 19th rape..
And the numbers keep increasing everyday.
Frankly, I am sick of it.

I am just ranting here and doing nothing much about it.
Does that make me any different from you?
Or from those idiots who say,
Get married early to ‘avoid’ rape?

I challenge you Mr. Rapist to cross my path,
I swear I’ll put a bullet in your head.

And ladies, if any rapist or pedophile
Ever come close to you again,
Kick 'em in their nuts so hard,
They wouldn’t have the balls to even think of raping you again.

I believe the time has come for us to stop being submissive
And say in unison, “Fuck the Rapists”.

  1. Firstly, I would like to apologize to all the women who have or going to read this post for the usage of language. My intention was not to offend anyone or try to get attention, just expressing my anger against something I strongly condemn. I hope you understand the real essence of this post. Thank You. :)

  2. Well, don't be sorry for the language. I think some issues need strong language. I wrote my recent poem with so much anger that I couldn't believe its me.

It would be great if men come up and deal with this issue rather than women. A strongly worded poem. Few days back I was thinking about why men rape and I stumbled upon these lines in the novel I was reading,

“Those bleeding hearts who called a rape a crime of violence were full of shit, he realized. It was about power. All about power.”

May be, some jerks feel they are more powerful because they have a p****. Even our society has to change, in western countries, people treat rape victims with respect and sympathy. I don't need to say how rape victims are treated in our country. As I always say we need to work on our morals and change the way we think.

    1. Thank you Saru for understanding. In fact your poem was the inspiration for me to write about this issue and the emotions just started to flow spontaneously.

I strongly feel both sexes are equal and surely men aren't the greater sex by any stretch. I am not just saying that but I mean it. So its actually disgusting to see some pathetic men think raping women gives them some sick power. I know not all men think like that, there are still a few good men in existence but these sick bastards are spoiling their name too.

I agree, in our country we have a knack of making the victim feel guilty for getting raped. We need to change our mindsets first. Today another moronic politician on TV said women shouldn't use mobile phones to avoid getting raped as it will 'distract' them. I am not sure whether to laugh at his stupidity or get angry.

The gallows in India are getting very rusty and they need to be used, and it is time we start using them for these rapists....

  8. Akshay Kumar G.... With the amount of Violence & Rape going around us, I don't think you could offend us with you language anymore - since we ourselves are using much more colourful language when it comes to these men :P

    Good work!

    1. Thank you Debdatta. Well, I don't usually use such strong language on my blog but on this post I felt I needed to express my honest opinion rather than the dumbed down version of it. I am glad you understood my point. Yes, these pathetic men deserve much worse, you are justified to use all the colorful language you wish. :)

  12. The force of your sentiments asked for such a language, don't apologize. When i think of what they do to young infants & toddlers -girls & boys-it makes my blood boil. They should be hanged at the cross-roads.

    1. Exactly Ma'm. Even for the most deranged rapist who doesn't possess a sane mind, there is absolutely no excuse for a rape especially if the girl/boy happens to be a minor or a toddler. I can't even put in words what kind of death such pedophiles deserve.

  13. let more and more people read it Akshay ... it has nothing to do with man and women ... such mentally sick people to should hanged in public ... Love what everyone has to say here ... :)

    1. Thank you very much Sangeeta. We need to turn that fire in us, the anger in us into action and make this world a better place to live in. These rapists deserve severest of punishments, a quick death isn't one of them. They need to suffer and die a painful death.

I felt I needed to bring out that anger I have in me regarding such pathetic act, I am glad you feel the same. Because of few rapist bastards, all men are treated the same which isn't fair. There are still good men left in this world. :)

Absolutely disgusted to watch the news about rapes every single day on TV or read about them in news papers. That made me write about it and so have express my anger in this way.

  22. I admire the men in India who're coming out against this issue. Typically, in a patriarchal set-up, men support men, regardless of justice -- but men like you have taken to social media in support of women's rights, and that is worth our applause. Men and women need to fight together against this malaise of our society.

    1. Thank you very much, Damayanti. I always believe we need to fight for what's right irrespective of gender. I wrote about this issue because I do feel very strongly about it. We are a country which boasts about respecting women but the reality is something very different. We HAVE TO change that.

  23. I did a thorough literature search on rape a few months back when I wrote on this topic. They say: It's a bigger problem. What we see is just a tip of the iceberg. Females committing rape are not that uncommon (they are usually not brought to light for certain reasons). According to many legislatures, females can't commit rape.
Majority of the time, it's a defect in the psychological make up of the person that makes a human (men or females) commit rape. In one word they are mentally ill. This disorder coupled with many other social factors take them to a point where they fail to demarcate morally right and wrong, turn insensitive to the sufferings of others and gain pleasure from filthy acts like rape.
It is the immediate surroundings of the person in his or her childhood that determines the tendency to commit crimes like this. Most of them would have had a bad childhood history: orphaned, separated families, domestic violence, being a victim themselves or brought up by parents/people who had lose morals.
Since then, I don't know if I should be angry at the rapists or at the people who brought them up/should have brought them up. Who ever is at fault, as you said, this has to stop. And the only place we can intervene is, to ensure every child is loved and goes through a safe and healthy childhood. Let them realize the value of life, love and relationships from their loved ones. Once they learn to respect and love their fellow beings they can't acquire this disorder as they grow up.
Liked your post and the rage in those crude words. :)

    1. Thank you, Leo Paw for your detailed analysis on this issue, I really appreciate your efforts. Yes, I have read your post you had written on the same lines and you do come up with some real valid points. Women committing rape might seem unreal but I do accept that it does happen but it is no way as brutal and scarring for a women when she is the victim which is the case on almost all occasions. This has to stop. Banning cellphones or getting them married off at a very young age isn't the solution.

And about upbringing, you bring up a very good point. But I do feel that in-spite of a traumatic childhood and upbringing, rapists don't get my sympathy. No matter how bad their childhood was that made them grow up to becoming what they have but they still have a choice to do the right thing. They chose to be what they are when they could have chosen to be otherwise. That's the reason I don't have any sympathy for them. Making them learn to love and respect a fellow human will definitely go a long way in ensuring they don't acquire this disorder but it still comes down to personal choices. :)

    1. Ma'm, made me so happy to see your comment on my blog again. I am over the moon. Welcome back. :)

I do feel very strongly about this issue, this menace has to stop one way or another. I may not have done complete justice in bringing about the pain and suffering a woman has to go through after she has been a victim of a heinous crime such as a rape, I will never know but I can at least voice my support and that's what I have tried to do. :)
