Devastated with

Slowly, he realized,

made him
very happy.
Writing was one of the

during the most toughest

He
continued to do
what made him happy,
despite his mediocre

He either
blogged
about himself,
or his idol,
Rahul Dravid.
Oh, he also
blogged
about cats.
To conceal his
limited writing skills,
He often resorted to

I know,
everyone will agree when I say this, one’s blog is not just a blog; it’s an
extension of themselves, an important part of their life. I am no different; my
dearest blog is a very important part of my life and will always continue to
be. I will keep on blogging as long as I can, for it has given me so much,
which I can never repay.
Here’s wishing a very happy 2nd
birthday to my dear blog. Thank you for everything you have done to me.
Happy Blogversary!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sir for the constant support. :)
DeleteHearty congrats, Akshay:):)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Amitji. :)
DeleteCongrats, Akshay! May your blog see many more successful b'days.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, Sir. Thanks a lot. :)
DeleteWow.. Happy Birthday to this beautiful blog of one of the most amazing person of Blogosphere :)
ReplyDeleteThis poem is so beautifully written. You have expressed your true feelings for the blog in such simple words. It is like the story of every blogger to whom their blog is really an important part of life. People who want to know the real us can easily know it by going through our blogs, isn't it???:)
Congratulations Akshay.. Our Blog is like our kid. Many more such birthdays of our kids we gonna celebrate together..
Cheers :D
Thank you so much, Sonia for being a wonderful part of my blogging journey. I can't thank you enough. I am so glad to have met you and befriended you through our blogs. :)

DeleteBlogs are our homes where we virtually live....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poem describing your blog journey
Happy Blogoversary and All the best!
Thank you, Valli. Coming from a beautiful poetess like yourself, its a great compliment. :)
DeleteEvery word is true. I always enjoy reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Sir for your encouraging words. Always a pleasure having you here. :)
DeleteThose words are all so true, Akshay! I have been visitingo your blog for over an year now, I know less about your love that prompted the birth of your second love. I know about your affection to The Wall. Here is wishing Many, Many Happy Returns of the Day to The Eternal Fighter, The Ultimate Comeback Kid. Let's raise a toast to you all!
ReplyDeletePS: That is a fabulous motto.
It gives me so much motivation to write just to know that a writer of your stature reads and appreciates my work. That's a great compliment in itself. :)
DeleteAbout my first love, well, I have deliberately kept it low-key. Also, I can't really express much about it in words even if I wanted to. :)
Thank you, Sir for your support and encouragement. :)
Stop saying mediocre and such words. As I said, 'There is no good or bad author. There is only one kind of an author that who connects with his readers.' You have done that and that too beautifully and our friendship is a testimony of that. Of course, blog is an extension of us. It was a pleasure knowing you and having you as a friend for lifetime. Keep writing and I am so happy that you chose to write poems on the anniversary. Though, the tone should be filled with confidence.
ReplyDeleteYou write from your heart and connect with us. Just keep doing that. I love the name of your blog. :)
Cheers!!!
You know, its getting a bit difficult to reply to your comment, as I don't know what to say. Our friendship is indeed beyond thank yous, so thanking you here would seem inadequate. You have been the biggest part of my blogging journey, our friendship has grown stronger and stronger over these past one and a half years and I am glad I found a friend for life, in you. :)
DeleteAbout the post bordering around negativity about my writing, well honestly that is what I think about my writing skills. As I mentioned in one of my tweets the other day, I love being the small fish in a big ocean. :) I am so glad that my posts have connected with you, there cannot be a greater compliment that that. I am honored. I will keep in mind about keeping the tone of the poem, positive. :))
happy birthday to ur blog
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nandini. :)
DeleteMany-many congratulations on completing 2 years... :)
ReplyDeleteloved the quote: "Some live to fight another day, I fight to live everyday"...
GOD bless u... :)
PS: I won't agree if anyone, even you will say that you are a mediocre... ;)
Thanks a lot, Paji for your wonderful words.. Always awesome to hear from you. :)
DeleteWell, my intention was not to evoke responses like, "You are not mediocre at all..." for calling myself one, but that is exactly what I think about my writing skills at this moment. Thank you, if you think otherwise, I am very glad to know. :)
Congratulations Akshay..:)
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, Nagini. :)
